Evelyn’s journey into yoga blossomed from a deep curiosity for self-discovery and a love for exploring the world within and around her. Her path led her to the Himalayas of Nepal, where she completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. There, she immersed herself in the essence of traditional practice, philosophy, and the art of mindful living.
Her quest for balance and inner stillness then guided her to Rishikesh — the spiritual heart of India — where she deepened her journey through a 50-hour Yin Yoga training, learning to honor the power of stillness, surrender, and gentle awareness.
Rooted in her passion for holistic wellbeing and guided by an adventurous spirit, Evelyn shares her practice with a serene and grounding presence. Through her teachings, she invites others to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with their inner rhythm — discovering harmony and wholeness both on and off the mat.
Disclaimer: Please note Tekapo Springs reserves the full right to cancel the yoga class in case of poor weather conditions. Yoga classes need a minimum of 4 participants to commence. A final number decision will be made at 7.15pm the previous night, and if the class is not proceeding, you will be notified accordingly. If your class is cancelled, Tekapo Springs will provide you with a full refund or date change (subject to availability).
